Tenant Screening

While renting a property seems to be the easier part of being a landlord, the ability to accurately screen prospective tenant(s) is the key to having a successful landlord/ tenant relationship. RPM utilizes the most up-to-date industry resources in researching and analyzing the prospective tenant(s).

It is RPM's goal to obtain the highest qualified tenant(s). Income, credit, and rental history will be verified. Applicants must provide proof of current employment. RPM will contact both the applicant's current landlord and current employer to verify income and stability of current employment. Gross income must be a minimum of three (3) times the monthly rent. Salary must be verified with employer or by copies of check stubs. All additional sources of income will be also verified if required to meet the (3) times rule

Credit

Any negative rental history is grounds for the denial of an application. Negative rental history includes, but is not limited to, the following: numerous NSF checks, late rental payments, noise complaints, unfulfilled lease term(s), eviction proceedings, and outstanding owed rents or collections. Tenant(s) applications' will only be presented to owners after RPM has finished the qualifying process. RPM conducts business in accordance with the Federal, State, and local Fair Housing Laws.
