All security, cleaning, & key deposits will be held in a trust account. We offer refundable security and cleaning deposits. The key deposit is non- refundable. At lease signing tenant(s) are given a complete list of requirements that must be fulfilled in order to have their deposit returned. Tenants will receive their security deposit along with a property condition report within 30 days, per Nevada State Law.
Tenants forfeit their deposits for breaking a lease or causing damage. Should a tenant cause more damage than the security deposit can cover, the account will be sent to a collection agency for collection. Collection agencies work on average 30/70 split. There are no up-front costs for using these services. RPM will assist in providing all the pertinent information to the collection agencies on behalf of the owner at no charge if RPM placed the tenant into the subject property.
